IT-Administrator (m/f/d)

Job Description

  • Administration of the internal IT infrastructure and eventually coordination of external providers
  • Procuring and commissioning of hardware
  • Providing the environment for tests, workshops and fairs
  • Support of the internal network (SQL server, exchange server, domain controller)
  • Ensuring the security by maintaining the firewall and virus scan
  • Administration of our website, especially the download area
  • Backups
  • Installing and technical commissioning of our ERP/MIS software C3 for customers
  • Installing server and client
  • Web portal
  • Setting up outlook and TAPI interfaces
  • Production: Commissioning of DMI (direct machine interface), setting up WLAN and forklift terminals
  • Support the software development in creating setups, doing adjustments to new client and server operating systems and performance optimization
  • Consulting on system requirements and infrastructure problems for the customers

Skills and Requirements 

  • Completed computer science education/training or comparable
  • Experience in system administration
  • Experience with the Microsoft infrastructure for example Windows client and server operating systems as well as active directory and VMware/Hyper-V
  • Good knowledge of general network infrastructure like Microsoft exchange
  • Good language skills in German and English
